Emerson Blackaby, born in 2003 in Helena, Montana, resides and works in Portland Oregon. They currently attend Portland Community College and are on a transfer path to The Pacific Northwest College of Art. They work primarily in paint, both acrylic an oil, taking inspiration from the natural environment as well as collaboration with others, especially authors. They have a history of creating book covers, working in museums, and giving guided tours.
