As a copyeditor & proofreader I am open to all genres and age groups. I'm most familiar with UK spelling and grammar but I have worked with US spelling in the past, though in academic works rather than fiction. Always open to queries and happy to offer a sample edit before any decisions are made!
As a beta reader I am most familiar with (urban) fantasy, crime and mystery, historical (particularly Ancient Roman, Ancient Greek, Ancient Egyptian, Tudor, Georgian, Victorian, and anything set in Ireland), and contemporary fiction featuring LGBTQ+ characters (particularly m/m, trans, and asexual characters). I read most of these genres at adult, young adult, and middle grade levels.
As a sensitivity reader I can offer the following: asexual, aromantic, genderqueer, and most things relating to Ireland e.g. life, stereotypes, and language – Irish (Gaeilge) and Hiberno-English (specifically in the west).
