General Information

I spent 4 years exploring my love of literature and creative writing throughout my BA in English Literature and Creative Writing and my MA in Creative Writing. I discovered my voice, the literature that I love, and developed my interests in working class voices, and the importance of representation.

Throughout history, there have been so many female voices that history has overlooked. In my fiction, I aim to write some of their stories. From the witches who were vilified, but were often simply poor widowed/unmarried women, to the working class women who had to work long before women ever got the vote, to the female pirates in a world of men, and so many more. I tell their stories because their stories are my own. Fighting to be heard, to succeed, in a system that just isn’t designed for people like us.

So if you’ve ever felt like maybe you don’t belong, that maybe you’re not seen, not heard, for who you are, that maybe magic might exist after all, you just might like my stories, my world, my version of magic.
